Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Skeleton Tree (2016)

I wish I could actually write something substantial for this album but there are no words, only tears. An album hasn’t made me this emotional since Katatonia’s Night is the New Day back in 2009. A completely overwhelming and purely emotional journey into the depths of sorrow and grief that has some of the most harrowing and tortured moments I’ve heard on any record (maybe ever). I don’t think there is any amount of words I could write that would do this record anywhere near the amount of justice it deserves. Please, for whatever recommendation is worth to you, listen to this record.
